Senior Salesforce Integration Engineer

As a Salesforce Senior Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between Salesforce and various other systems within the organization. You will utilize your extensive experience with API integrations, Salesforce configurations, and system architecture to enhance our business processes and foster collaboration between departments. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce and integration tools, combined with a strong sense of innovation and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration Design & Development: Architect and develop integration solutions between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft, and ETL tools like Data Loader.
  • Integration Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations on integration techniques and best practices.
  • Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot integration points to ensure uninterrupted flow of information.
  • Optimization: Continuously analyze the current integration solutions and make recommendations for improvements or optimizations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Salesforce development team, IT, and other departments to ensure integrations are aligned with business needs.
  • Documentation: Document all integration processes, workflows, and architectural decisions for reference and training.
  • Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce integration techniques
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce integration tools (like MuleSoft, Data Loader) and Web Services (REST/SOAP)
  • 5+ years of experience using Salesforce’s data model, features, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other CRM, ERP, or related business systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer certification or other relevant Salesforce certifications
  • Experience with Lightning Web Components and Apex coding
  • Familiarity with multiple integration middleware platforms
  • Knowledge in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Prior experience in agile development methodologies
  • Experience working in a large-scale, complex business environment
